After Always Happy (September 7, 2022)

Dark Harvest (September 9, 2022)


dark harvest is a fantasy horror based on a 2006 novel of the same name, originally slated for release September 24, but COVID-19 delays pushed it to its current release date.

The film is set in the 1960s in a Midwestern town in which the town’s boys are faced with the task of defeating and killing a supernatural entity by the name of October Boy. The winner who manages to defeat the knife killer has the option to leave his hunted city, which is impossible to do otherwise. According to the connection between the film and the novel, October Boy aka Ol’ Hacksaw Face could be considered one of the best masked killers in a film.


Clerk 3 (September 13 & 14, 2022)

A film in the making for a decade, Clerk 3 is an upcoming American comedy that will only be in theaters for two days on September 13, 2022. The film will star Kevin Smith, Trevor Fehrman, Rosario Dawson, Jay Mewes and Brian O’Halloran.

Coming to Netflix in September 2022, The School of Good and Evil is a fantasy film based on the 2013 novel of the same name. Featuring a talented veteran cast of Michelle Yeoh, Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington, the cast of The School of Good and Evil is probably familiar to many.

The film will follow two best friends, Agatha and Sophie, who are kidnapped and taken to the titular School of Good and Evil. Here, the best friends will discover not only a whole new world, but also themselves as they seek to return home.

A film that will tell the true story of two twin sisters, The Silent Twins is expected to star Letitia Wright and Tamara Lawrance as the main characters. The film tells the story of June and Jennifer Gibbons, twin sisters who have only communicated with each other their entire lives. When society deems them sick, the sisters must decide whether to leave each other and survive or stay together and die.


Directed by Agnieszka Smoczynska, The Silent Twins already received criticism ahead of its release due to its inconsistent handling of themes surrounding racism and mental illness and its abused tone. But even with that criticism, the film seems to tell the harrowing tale of two sisters’ unbreakable bond in a visually interesting world.

After its highly anticipated trailer release, woman king, starring the talented Viola Davis, is set to be released on September 16, 2022. The film is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and will also star Hero Fiennes, John Boyega and Lashana Lynch.


The female king will narrate the true historical events of the Kingdom of Dahomey, which was considered one of the most powerful states in the country of Africa during the 18th and 19th centuries. Almost 30 years after the release of its 1993 prequel, Hocus PocusDisney is about to release Hocus Pocus 2 end of September. The film will follow three young girls who unwittingly free the infamous Sanderson sisters and must find a way to defeat the child-hungry witches in modern-day Salem.


Set to reprise their roles as the Sanderson sisters, Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy are set to star alongside Hannah Waddingham, Doug Jones, Tony Hale, Whitney Peak and Sam Richardson. The live-action comedy should be just as deliciously wicked as the first cult classic.
