Liam Neeson, Ciarán Hinds’ First Look in Ireland on ‘Land of Saints and Sinners’ Set (Exclusive) | News

Filter got first footage from producers Facing East of Liam Neeson and Ciarán Hinds in an action-thriller In the land of saints and sinners that Bleiberg/Dimbort represent for the international sale and will present excerpts at Cannes next week.

Robert Lorenz is currently making the film in County Donegal, Ireland, about a retired assassin in a remote Irish village who finds himself embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a trio of vengeful terrorists.

Mark Michael McNally and Terry Loane wrote the screenplay for the film, which also stars Colm Meaney, Kerry Condon, Jack Gleeson, Desmond Eastwood, Sarah Greene, Conor MacNeill, Seamus O’Hara, Valentine Olukoga and Mark O’Regan.

Markus Barmettler and Philip Lee of Facing East are producing alongside Geraldine Hughes and Terry Loane of Prodigal Films Limited. Executive producers are Kieran Corrigan, Ehud Bleiberg, Danny Dimbort, Nicholas Bennett, Victor Hadida, Marc Jacobson, Lorenz, Adrian Grabe, Daniel Fluri and Marcel Gloor.

Facing East in conjunction with RagBag Pictures is producing and financing the feature film and CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group are jointly representing the US rights.

Bleiberg/Dimbort previously licensed the film to Metropolitan Filmexport (French-speaking territories), Netflix (UK/Ireland), Madman (Australia, New Zealand), Vertice (Italy, Spain, Latin America, Portugal), Signature (German-speaking territories , Canada), Mis Label (Scandinavia), Eagle Films (Middle East), Dutch Filmworks (Dutch-speaking Benelux), Scene & Sound (South Korea), Monolith Films [Eastern Europe (excluding CIS)] and United King Films (Israel).
