Bombay (Maharashtra) [India]July 4 (ANI/PNN): Mumbai-based production house KissaGhar Productions’ film Aamras is hosting a major festival across India.
The film depicts the tale of a family torn between their principles and their pleasures, who discover through a series of comical events that they have far less control than they realize.
The film uses satire, laced with dramatic irony, to discuss broad social issues, displaying the ideals of various family members and peppered with antitheses.
Founded with the vision of Mayank Pushpam Singh, who helms most of the projects under this banner as writer/director, advises independent filmmakers, “Let’s not be restricted by the idea of our limits, but lean into them. “.
KissaGhar Production’s recent short, Aamaras, brought together solid performers like Alka Amin, Shruthy Menon, Jolly Bhatia, Arjan Aujla and Akshay Sharma. For its amazing presentation of possible human emotions, Aamras team won the Jury Honorable Mention (Dadasaheb Phalke Awards Delhi edition) and Critics` choice award at Madras Independent Film Festival, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

As far as memory goes, my aunt and grandmother used to tell stories of mythologies that in all likelihood laid the groundwork for creating worlds of our own, beginning with dramas and plays.
Through KissaGhar Production, I want to deliver stories that elicit emotional reactions from audiences. We are a team of shamans who tell the impossible and the improbable, and we ensure that each story stays true to its roots. Soon we want to expand by producing longer stories on feature lines. A short-term wish for the writer and director in me is to find and direct the Indian from Alice in Wonderland and Harry Potter to create; through words and visuals, creating a world of its own.”
During its short-lived journey, KissaGhar Productions has already produced many moving stories with incredible talent in the mix. The production house will insist on telling stories that are nevertheless told in a low voice. All of these shorts will premiere on mainstream OTT platforms.
